Ballet 1 (8-12 years)
This class provides the foundation for classical ballet technique. Class will consist of a comprehensive ballet barre, which will include strengthening exercises, instruction in correct ballet terminology and musicality. Center work will include technique drills and simple combinations. Ballet techniques from Russia, Italy and London (RAD) will be used for the training of the young dancer to develop strength, coordination, flexibility and proper body alignment for ballet.
Adult Ballet (Teens and Adults)
This class is open to ballet lovers who have studied ballet at an earlier age and want to return or to those who have always wanted to study ballet but didn‘t have the opportunity.
Contemporary Jazz
This is a fun, dynamic class which will incorporate elements of theater dance, classic jazz, and more commercial and street dance styles.
Theater Arts
This class offers scene study, character development, improvisation, monologues, theater games and movement for stage.
Teen/Adult Theater
This class offers all of the techniques of theater arts along with voice overs and audition techniques for young actors.
EKlektricity with Theater Dance
The class technique offers strengthening, and alignment .All types of music will lend itself to a variety of dance styles with theater expression in dramatic movement. Your own creative voice will have an opportunity to express itself in a joyful accepting atmosphere.
*Ballroom & Latin Dance will be held one Friday per month, starting September 17th
9/17 Foxtrot 10/15 Mambo/Salsa 11/12 Hustle 12/10 Swing Dance One hour of class followed by social dancing. No partners necessary.
